Brian West | Lead Pastor

I’m Pastor Brian West and I’m the Lead Pastor here at Holy Cross. It’s my joy to lead this incredible staff and energetic family of faith. Alongside the work, I’m passionate about pens, cycling and how to properly brew tea. Other than Jesus and my family, the way to my heart is…well, cheesecake. Yup, I said it. I’m a sucker for cheesecake…okay…pretty much just cheese.
Adam Peck | Associate Pastor

I’m Adam Peck and as Associate Pastor, I get to influence the big picture at Holy Cross as well as be immersed in day-to-day discipling. It’s the best of both worlds!
I’m always up for exploring the new & interesting—food, activity, people…you name it, I’m game. I currently enjoy the competition and camaraderie of pickleball, riding the edge of not dying while mountain biking, watching my kids perform/play what they love and soaking up sunrises & sunsets.
I’m definitely a work in progress, but I love being on that journey…with my family & whoever will join me…since Jesus is leading.
Jolene Siebarth | Director of Youth and Family

My name is Jolene Siebarth and I am the DCE for Youth and Family at Holy Cross. I am a graduate of Concordia, River Forest and have had the joy and honor of serving in two congregations in Missouri before answering God’s call to Holy Cross.
I love to travel and have a goal to visit all 50 states and 7 continents. Other favorites include playing volleyball, watching baseball, hockey and college football and spending time with family and friends, a good game night and exploring. I love working with students and their families as they journey in their relationship with Jesus.
I am a fan of BBQ, Mexican and Cherry Coke Zero, and trying out new restaurants. My favorite birthday treat is Carrot Cake and Peppermint ice cream.

I oversee finance, administration, human resources & technology; support our office, communication and facility care team members; and I sit on our leadership team.
I’m obsessed with trying to figure out who God wants me to love more and how. Growing in grace. Reading all the books. Coffee, Diet Coke, going on walks, naps & all.the.lists. Loving my family and friends well.
My favorite birthday treat is any chocolate baked good + ice cream (current fav – Hudsonville Triple Peanut Butter Cup).

I’m Shawn Smith, Church Secretary & Ministry Support, and I run on coffee and Jesus. I’m currently obsessed with self-help, self-care type podcasts. I always want to be in a good mindset. I listen to certain podcasts to help keep that mindset, to help with healing mentally and spiritually. My favorite treat is Brownies & ice cream
Holly Zuidema | Communication Coordinator

I’m Holly, and I’m the communication coordinator, which means I handle social media and graphics along with managing our website.
I’m currently obsessed with all things creative, especially photography, collage, and junk journaling. I live with a psychotic calico who still has her claws and thinks I’m a kitty climbing toy.
My favorite birthday treat is anything that has caramel in it.
Johanna Dexter | Worship Coordinator & Music Leader

My name is Johanna Dexter. I’ve been married to my best friend, Nick, since 2016. We have two kids, Thomas and Millie, and are expecting our third in November 2023. I grew up orignally in California and received my first call to serve at a church in Saginaw, MI – where I met Nick. We’ve lived on the west side of Michigan and worshipped at Holy Cross since 2016.
I help oversee worship services and I lead music for the contemporary services – occasionally you’ll find me on the organ bench at the early service. I also oversee the audio and visual teams and all the slides you see in the services!
I love to bake – anything from sweet to savory. The best part of baking is giving it away and sharing. When we have the time my husband and I love to make pizzas from scratch. I also love to make espresso type drinks. Maybe giving away or making food is my love language. My favorite birthday treats are chocolate espresso cake or a chocolate tarte.

Larry Barnes | Facility Coordinator

My name is Larry D. Barnes, I am the Facility Care Leader of Holy Cross. What do I do? If it is maintenance, cleaning, room changes, calling contractors if the maintenance is beyond my skills, if it is lawn and plant care, all things facility shuffle through my hands. I also serve a liaison between staff and church security team. My happy place is being outdoors and I use a bicycle or recumbent trike to take me to the outdoors. I also like to listen to audio books and podcast while chasing down dirt. My favorite birthday treat is mixed fruit, if frozen blueberries aren’t available, they are my most favorite.
