If we are going to join Jesus in His one mission, in two places, as we invest in 3 relationships, it’s going to require that we give it our all. Our life of following Christ is going to require that we embrace giving. Jesus asks, “What good is it if you gain the whole world but forfeit your soul?” We work so hard to get the right clothes, the right car, the right house, the right amount of money… we attempt to gain the whole world. But Jesus calls us to full living – which means NOT getting, but giving. This is especially true of our finances…which can war against God’s Kingdom. If we want to fully live, then we’ll have to embrace a life that gives. Read Romans 5:1-8 & Mark 8:34-38.
