The season of Lent starts today with Ash Wednesday. During Lent it may be common to give up something you rely on. By giving something up the desired outcome is to grow closer to Christ without that "thing" getting in the way. Another practice to do during Lent could be to add something that brings you closer to Christ. Devotional time is a great way to pause and take the time to get deeper into God's Word and hear the truth He proclaims to us. Finding a worthwhile devotional is sometimes difficult. We have put a list of devotionals together based on demographics. We pray that this allows this season of Lent to be a great growth time. A time to draw closer to Jesus as he draws closer to the cross, and ultimately the defeat of death itself!
