Joy to Serve
Jesus says that He came NOT to be served, but to serve. St. Paul reminds us 'that it is better to give than to receive.' Nothing proclaims these truths louder than the cross and resurrection - a reminder that God willingly, and in love, gave His son to become a servant of all, a ransom for many, and offering poured out for the sake of the world. Having been anchored in the work of Christ Jesus - we then, are free to serve. When we do, we'll find...serving produces JOY.
