On that Thursday night, the night before Jesus’ death, Jesus ate the Passover meal with His disciples. That’s significant, but the evening involves many other conversations and activities. We’re going to review the scene with Jesus and the disciples to glean some important lessons for us. In a sense, we were there. The events and words do apply to us. As a day for repentance and grace, worshipers will have the opportunity to receive ashes of repentance and participate in the Lord’s Supper of grace. Read 1 John 4:9-10, 14-16 and John 13:1-11.
