Back to series

Welcome to week 2 of the 50 Days of Gratitude.  The challenge…the dare…was leveled last week: “try recording 3 things you’re thankful for each day.”  It’s an attractive challenge because we heard what positive life changes could result from regularly thinking about what we might give thanks for.  However, this approach to life doesn’t come naturally.  If it did, we wouldn’t need this preaching series or this 50 day dare.  Thankfully, the Apostle Paul provides direction on how God has positioned himself to make this joy-producing thankfulness possible in us. Read Psalm 1:1-6, Philippians 4:1-6a, and Matthew 6:25-34.
