We tend to choose our last words carefully because they are what stick. Jesus did the same with His final words before His death on the cross.  He voiced parting words to the world as He was leaving and loving through His death. In this series, we’ll examine Jesus’ last words and discover what they teach us about our crucified King and what they mean for those who follow after Him.

Sin causes us to be separated from God. But God’s own Son comes to take our place and our punishment by being forsaken by the Father on the cross. Why? So that we are reconciled to the Father… now and forever. Read Isaiah 59:1-2, 12-17 and Matthew 27:45-49.
