“Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”Hebrews 12:28-29

We Christians tend to live life cautiously, unwilling to try something new. (That’s kind of like a child using training wheels.) This probably applies to all of us in many different aspects of our lives, including using the bodies and minds God has given us in His service daily.  But for many it also includes how we handle the material and financial resources God has put under our management.  Fear often holds people back from doing things God’s way.  They therefore miss out on the joy, exhilaration, and freedom of God’s way.  Can we boldly do God’s will, fully trusting Him . . . and getting rid of the training wheels?
