In this world we experience temptations, trials, and tests, along with all the gifts of God. We understand from the Bible that God puts tests into our lives. For example, Deuteronomy 13:3b says: “The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul.” God sees how we did on a test, but the person undergoing the test does also. In some cases that leads us to repentance and in other cases to rejoicing. Read James 1:12-18, Matthew 10:37-39 & Genesis 22:1-8.
