Joy in Prayer
When Jesus teaches us to pray, 'Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name...,' he's teaching us to recall and pray through God's character - to recall and to rejoice in God's goodness, faithfulness, love, omnipotence, patience, etc. as a way of reminding of us what is true. This is especially important when life seems to throw hardship and hurt our way. Prayer is an opportunity to recount God's nature and when we do...we'll find JOY in all circumstances.
