All fine arts are an intricate part of our worship experience here at Holy Cross. We have many different opportunities for all ages and talents. Below are the current Fine Arts programs we have available.

Children in kindergarten through 5th grade sing a variety of music several times a year at both worship services. Please contact Lori Schimmelmann for more information.

The Chancel Choir welcomes anyone 9th grade and above to join in singing a variety of music at both worship services. Practice is on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm, contact Rae Reed for more information.

Using both instrumentalists and vocalists, the Praise Team leads worship at the contemporary service, utilizing a mix of contemporary Christian music and adapted classics. Practice is on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm, contact Matt Reed for more information.
This groups “rings to the Lord a new song!” at worship on a scheduled basis. No musical experience is necessary. Practice is on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 pm, contact Lori Schimmelmann for more information.

The Puppet Ministry at Holy Cross is a team of young people 6th grade and up. The puppets serve in worship services as scheduled, and perform for other groups as requested. Practice is on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm, contact Deann Hurn for more information.
The Holy Cross Orchestra joins our worship for special services at Christmas and Easter. This ensemble is open to all members and friends who play a band or orchestra instrument, contact Matt Reed for more information.
The Stick Ministry is a worshipful dance group that sets stick choreography to music during worship on special occasions, contact Deann Hurn for more information.
