Faith On Tap
During April we had 40 different men join in one of our three Wednesday night gatherings. Great conversations took place about mentorship, time management and leadership all the while relationships between our men were strengthened as laughter, encouragement and comradery filled our time together.
Family Night
On Friday, April 20, nine young families enjoyed a night of food, fellowship and fun. We started the night enjoying dinner and conversation and ended the evening playing games together. It was great seeing families work together on teams. Look for our next family night this fall.
Confirmation Witness Day
Months of time, energy and focus came to fruition as nineteen eighth grade students shared their faith in Jesus! Each student shared their chosen confirmation verse and how Jesus has shaped them into His disciples.
One of our deacons shared, “The students did a great job sharing their faith. They were very well prepared!”
Selah: Resurrection
On April 22, Selah {a night of praise + prayer} celebrated the Easter victory through songs focused on the resurrection. During the prayer time, attendees had the chance to participate in interactive stations based on the song "Resurrecting". One participant shared this,
"Our family has been blessed by and is grateful for Selah. For us, it is a unique and emotional way to worship, spending time with our Lord, in both prayer and praise. The music, both instrument and lyrics, focused on Christ's resurrection and our salvation, were very impactful. Selah is a great time to close the week and to prepare our hearts and minds for the new week ahead."
